Amidst the familiar whir of scooters and e-bikes navigating downtown Denver, a distinctive new vehicle has emerged: Veo’s Rover electric trike. With its low-slung profile, three wheels, cushioned seat, and convenient baskets, the Rover isn’t just another addition to the micromobility landscape; it’s a statement. Fifty of these innovative trikes are currently in service, gathering crucial rider feedback as Veo, a leading shared micromobility provider operating in over 60 cities and universities, prepares for a wider city rollout.
Designed for Everyone: Prioritizing Accessibility
Veo’s commitment to inclusivity is evident in the Rover’s meticulous design and in-house manufacturing process. Beginning in early 2024, the company engaged hundreds of riders and more than 20 organizations, including the Parkinson’s Foundation and Capitol Hill Village. This collaborative approach was further informed by Veo’s 2025 annual rider survey, which revealed that 24% of respondents identified as having a disability. These insights were instrumental in shaping every aspect of the Rover, from its comfortable riding position to its practical cargo arrangements.
“For too long, shared micromobility has excluded many disabled people and others who don’t feel comfortable using a standing scooter or pedal bike,” states Anna Zivarts, director of the Nondrivers Alliance and author of When Driving Is Not an Option. The Rover directly addresses this gap, fostering a more equitable urban transportation ecosystem.
