Their philosophy of ‘reimagining’ has now been extended into an unprecedented alliance with Louis Vuitton, a brand synonymous with travel, luxury, and exquisite artistry. This wasn’t a fleeting endeavor; according to Singer’s founder and executive chairman Rob Dickinson, these twin 911s were years in the making, with teams traversing between Paris, California, and England, meticulously exchanging ideas, designs, and samples.
“We were constantly exchanging ideas, with an enormous volume of renderings, digital design data, paint, and leather samples, and then photographs of the cars as they evolved,” Dickinson explains. “Our two houses brought different expertise to the project, but we share the same standards and the same ambition. Every major decision was made together.”
The collaboration’s origin was surprisingly modest: a Singer client’s request for a Louis Vuitton clock in their car. What began as a singular accessory quickly blossomed into a comprehensive project, as Singer chief strategy officer Mazen Fawaz recounts, extending to “encompass every element of the car.” The project’s allure soon reached Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of Women’s Collections, inspiring the creation of a second, turbocharged variant.

The second vehicle, the Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic Turbo, charts an entirely different course, conceived in collaboration with Nicolas Ghesquière. This Calcaire Lutétien white cabriolet draws profound inspiration from classic motorboats, transforming the iconic 911 into a land-bound yacht.
Wood emerges as a defining material, gracing the bumpers and extending throughout the storage areas. The rear luggage deck, with its varnished finish, evokes the elegant deck of a vintage runabout. Even the lightweight white roof contributes to this nautical character, its stretched form reminiscent of a billowing sail.
The interior continues the maritime theme. The bespoke timepiece finds a new home in the center console, while gold-toned gauges and natural leather maintain the luxurious material palette. A varnished wood compartment behind the seats is ingeniously shaped to accommodate both the car’s luggage and its removable roof.
