Consequently, the company will continue to operate as before, but it will be wholly owned by Picea.

Moreover, Picea has been instrumental in helping iRobot pivot from its prior path into a more consumer-focused brand.
Thanks to Picea, iRobot was able to launch eight new robots, its largest line up ever, in March of this year.
In addition, Picea has helped iRobot close the four-year tech gap it had with its competitors.
iRobot’s Future Plans
Therefore, the company is optimistic about its future plans, including launching its next-gen products in 2026.
Meanwhile, Cohen hopes that his legacy at the company will be to shift its culture from tech-first to consumer-led and to commercialize its ideas.
However, the company still has a lot of competition in the market.
