Maker Faire is a global phenomenon that brings together innovative, inspiring, and creative projects from all over the world. Since 2023, we’ve been sharing the collective feat of making in our annual Yearbook, showcasing the breadth and depth of projects shared at Maker Faires worldwide.
However, creating the Yearbook also provides an opportunity to identify the subjects, materials, techniques, and technology that captured the imagination of makers across the year. In 2025, AI and robotics were leading topics, with humanoid robots and AI integration, particularly in IOT, commanding attention.

Consequently, HugLab + Morph @ Maker Faire Rome (Italy) presents a human-powered, load-bearing exoskeleton designed to reduce strain on the back, neck, and legs during repetitive physical work, using no batteries or motors.
In addition, the Brain-controlled Exoskeleton @ Maker Faire Shreveport-Bossier (Louisiana) is a platform that revolutionizes learning and opportunities, empowering anyone to turn dreams into reality and transform lives on a global scale.
