MAX Zone Establishes Foshan Hub with Innovative, Future-Forward Spaces
In a bold move to redefine the concept of smart manufacturing, MAX Zone has opened a state-of-the-art hub in Foshan, China. The technology park’s design, crafted by the Ippolito Fleitz Group, seamlessly integrates cutting-edge technology with warm, inviting spaces that foster human connection in today’s digital world.
At the heart of the MAX Zone Technology Park lies a unique approach to office design. Studio Director Patrick Wu of the Ippolito Fleitz Group Shanghai explains, “The concept of Jù, or gathering, is reinterpreted within a contemporary office setting to create a multidimensional environment.” This innovative approach sets the tone for the entire facility.
Upon entering the lobby of the sales center, visitors are greeted by a reimagined interpretation of the region’s signature archways. A delicate curtain of water encircles the reception area, reflecting the majestic dancing dragon motif on the facade. The space is adorned with woven blankets, wood carvings, and other artifacts that celebrate the country’s rich tradition of handicrafts.
As guests ascend to the third floor, they are treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding cityscape. The bar area showcases handmade porcelain teacups, while a coral marble countertop contrasts beautifully with crackle-effect tiles. The five-floor show office captures the essence of motion, with curves and fluid movement that echo the dynamic energy of each level.
Flagship products are highlighted on a circular display at the entrance, paired with interactive screens that invite exploration. A sculptural staircase serves as a vertical link, promoting spontaneous encounters and informal meetings. The palette of blue and white tones calms, while fluorescent pops and bright orange offer striking chromatic contrasts in designated sections.
Designed for both heads-down and group tasks, the second floor features a state-of-the-art conference capsule surrounded by ergonomic workstations and seminar sectors. The upper levels spark creativity, complete with flexible workspaces, modular furniture, and adaptable partitions for just enough privacy.
The souterrain houses basketball courts, climbing walls, and a gym, allowing employees to prioritize fitness or engage in team sports. A mezzanine on this level doubles as a hospitality center, boasting banquet spaces enclosed by faux fur curtains. The dining area offers an intimate setting for savoring meals.
According to Wu, “The spaces are infused with energy and movement amid tranquility, embodying a bold, progressive identity rooted in tradition.” This unique blend of past and present sets MAX Zone apart, as staff looks ahead to what’s next.
